Injecting insulin in toddlers

Hi.

I’m the mom of a 3-year-old newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic. I’ve been using syringes to inject insulin. Changed to insulin pens. Now there’s bruising and sometimes an insulin drop left at the injection spot or on the needle tip after injecting has put me off pens. I’m back to using syringes.

What is the best device to use for toddlers that inject 4 times per day?
