Saturday 4th November: Family picnic for Diabetes Awareness Month

Saturday 11th November: Family Picnic to celebrate World Diabetes Day
Youth With Diabetes together with Diabetic Accessories are inviting you for a Family Picnic to celebrate World Diabetes Day. The event will be filled with fun activities such as face painting and jumping castle. For bookings please contact Diabetic Accessories on 082 348 4551.

Saturday 11th November: Walk in memory of Caylee Usher
Join the Walk in Memory of Caylee Usher at the Lighthouse in Mouille Point at 10am. The walk/run is to create awareness around diabetes. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic basket and mingle after the walk.
Tuesday 14th of November: Wear Blue for Diabetes and Know the 5
Help us turn South Africa blue for World Diabetes Day! We want the whole of South Africa to wear blue on World Diabetes Day, Tuesday 14th November 2023 so that every South African will know the 5 symptoms of diabetes. Click here to find out more about how you can join!
Tuesday 14th of November: National Diabetes Awareness Event
Come join Chery Middelburg’s Diabetic Awareness event hosted by Derick Truter on the 14th of November at Eastdene Pharmacy between 10:00am and 15:0pm. There will be free glucose and HbA1c testing.

Family and friends are welcomed to join for a Diabetes Meet up at Durban Botanical Gardens on the 18th November.

Join us to celebrate November and the Sweet Life community for the #SweetLifeWalk. Walk, run, wheelchair or just join in for the morning to soak up the vibes. There will be Durban, Joburg and Cape Town walks at 9am, and if that doesn’t suit, you can do a virtual walk!
