Is diabetes mellitus the same as diabetes?

Diabetes mellitus is the scientific name for diabetes – Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes.

Diabetes mellitus is one of the most common chronic conditions in the world.

Diabetes mellitus is sugar diabetes.

Diabetes mellitus is easy to live with if you have a diabetic community to support you, and where you can ask questions and offer advice!
