Type 2 diabetes and lumps?

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at the end of July 2011. I am currently still coming to terms with what I can and cannot eat.

Am I supposed to break out in lumps on my body almost daily? The lumps are like those one would get where a mosquito has bitten.

Please advise.

    Hi Lester

I also use to get that and I was told that I had Chronic Urticaria and Antihestimine tablets helped. I haven’t had it in a while but when I did, it drove me crazy with intense heat and itch where the hives were popping up.

Wishing you a lovely weekend and take care.

Lester sounds like u are having a re -action to the glucophage tablets. Go back to ur dr so that they can change ur meds. It takes awhile to get use to what u can eat and what u can’t eat. What was worst for me was my coke cola that was hard to leave and then to get use to coke light. Good luck.
