How the BT test helped my diabetes diet

Hi everyone,
As promised here is the info regarding the BT test and my experience with it.

To start off with, let me give you some information as to how and why I had the test done.
I’m a Type 1 diabetic, and a couple of months ago I was constantly feeling tired, I couldn’t concentrate on anything and I had trouble sleeping. I was losing a lot of weight, which I couldn’t gain back. Also, worryingly for me, was that my sugars were not very well under control. As hard as I tried they were all over the place – too high, too low, but never constant.

Finally I went to my nutritionalist Waldie Bosman at Green Health Lifestyle, who asked me if I knew about the BT test.  After he informed me about it, what it was all about and what it tested for, I went for it straight away. What the BT test does is tests for your phase 1 and phase 2 of your liver. This has everything to do with how your body metabolizes sugars/carbs. In my case my phase 1 was extremely fast and my phase 2 was very slow.

Also it test your DNA. The reason they test for it, is to see what’s happening on your cellular levels, which foods work for you, which don’t and of course what influence your medication is having on your body, which meds work for you and which ones don’t.

As a diabetic, we have a lot of things to worry about and contend with. These test and diets they then work out for you plus the “personalized” meds they make for you based on your test results are absolutely amazing.

Here are the things they mix for me. Unfortunately, I don’t know what all the ingredients are of the mixtures, but the names are as follow:
I started off with a mixture they call: BioTransform 01, this is a detox powder, that help the liver get rid of all impurities so it can start to function as normal, also I got what is called BCAA, I don’t really what it is, but I do know that’s it Amino acids, then Mega Omega Supreme, this is pharmaceutical grade fish oil with loads of Omega 3 fatty acids. Then I use BioTransformation 02, which is a therapeutic power mix and also L- Carnitine.

Before I started with this, I used to inject 45 units of Lantus in the evening and depending on what my meals were between 6 – 10 units of Apidra. I now inject only 15 units of Lantus in the evenings and my Apidra is down to 6 units.  Most of the time, I don’t even have to take Apidra with dinner (only if I have dinner after coming from the gym).
Also my sugars are always around 3.8 (in the mornings) – 4.9 during the rest of the day.

I hope everyone is well.
Have a safe week and good luck with everybody’s sugary issues.
