Is excessive sweating linked to diabetes?

Looking for advice:

I sweat profusely whenever I eat, around the neck, hairline and face. I don’t eat any spicy food so we can rule that out, but it can be anything, even yoghurt.

All the quacks I’ve consulted each have their own theory but without result. Internet research says diabetes can be a cause, but none of the research gives a solid remedy, especially a South African one.

Any suggestions?

    Hello there,

Before I was diagnosed and started taking medication, I also used to sweat like that when I ate. When I read your post I suddenly realised that this no longer happens to me now that my condition is being managed.

I hope you manage to come right. It wasn’t only uncomfortable it was pretty embarrassing too!
